Ingredients:
- 2 pounds of cod fish
- 3 big celery stalks
- 1 onion
- 6 slices of stale white bread (or roast in the
oven) – you’ll get approximately 1,5 cup breadcrumbs (you can also take ready
breadcrumbs)
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp. mayo
- 1 tbsp. finely chopped parsley
- 2 tsp. chilli sauce
- 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- salt and pepper
How to:
1. Chop the celery stalks and onion and saute in oil
until golden.
2. Take out bones from the fish and finely chop
it.
3. Blend the bread into crumbs, put 1/3 into a
bowl and set aside the rest.
4. Add the fish to the breadcrumbs in the bowl as
well as the remaining ingredients and mix well.
5. Form 10 round burgers and put them for 30 minutes
in the fridge, as they are pretty wet and we wouldn’t want the patties to fall
apart while frying them.
6. Take out the burgers, crumb them in the remaining
breadcrumbs and fry in oil 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
